The Canadian government conducts an “Express Entry draw” to choose who can apply for permanent status through Express Entry.

It selects the top applicants from the applications received. A variety of things influence your ranking as a candidate.

With the Express Entry draws set to resume soon, anyone interested in applying for immigration to Canada should submit their application as soon as possible to be considered for an invitation.

What measures should I take to qualify for Express Entry?

Step 2: Estimate your ranking in the Express Entry draw

Step 3: Schedule an IELTS language test and prepare your documentation.
If you have not yet taken an English language exam, you should schedule an IELTS test right away because documentation of your results is required for the application.

Step 4: Create and submit a profile
Once you’ve gathered all of the necessary information for your application, you must develop and submit “a profile” to see if it is accepted into the Express Entry draw.

After submitting your profile, you wait for an invitation to apply for Express Entry. If you receive an invitation, you then have 60 days to apply.
